That 70's Wine Dinner!

Thank you all for re-experiencing those wonderful wines the wine industry made to get American's drinking wine: Boones Farm Strawberry Fields, Blue Nun, Mateus Rose', Thunderbird, and more... Then tasting what we have learned to appreciate since then with such greats as Shafer, Stag's leap Wine Cellars, Coppola's Rubicon, Nickel & Nickel Truchard Chardonnay, and others. Chef served some old favorites presented on a fondue table ( both chocolate fondue and a cheese fondue ), an international "MOD" cheese table, and passed hor's d'oerves. Some worth remembering, some you've tried to forget. We encouraged you to break out the leasure suit and platform shoes, be prepared to dance, and maybe win a costume contest ( 70's attire optional ), and you played along with us beautifully.

Mondavi Wine Dinner
Thank you to all our guests who attended our most recent wine dinner featuring the wines of Robert Mondavi on Wednesday, September 15, 2004. We had our largest attendence of all wine dinners!
Chateau Potelle Wine Dinner
Jordan's Steakhouse hosted a wine dinner featuring the wines of Chateau Potelle! We were thrilled to have vineyard owner Jean-Noel Fourmeaux here to present the wines. For a special treat, Baltimore Opera Soprano singer, Katleen Stapleton, and Baltimore Opera music director "Bill" entertained us throughout the evening, receiving many "bravos" and standing ovations! Executive chef Dean Batlas has put together an incredible menu once again to pair up with the wines. Taste of Ellicott City
Ellicott City once again hosted its 4th annual Taste of Ellicott City on Tuesday, June 1, 2004! Jordan's Steakhouse, Tersiguel's, Cacao Lane, Sidestreets, The Phoenix Emporium, Tiber River Tavern,and La Palapa restaurants all participated in this year's Taste of Ellicott City. Together we raised money to operate the trolley on Main Street as well as for food safety and sanitation classes for each of the participating restaurants through MHEF (Maryland Hospitality Education Foundation). Thank you to all who participated, and we look forward to the fifth Taste of Ellicott City next June!
Oscar Party
We are thrilled to have hosted our first annual Oscar party! The party started at 7pm for a cocktail hour, and ballot selections, followed by the viewing of the Oscars on a giant movie screen. We rolled out the red carpet, gave out prizes for the winners, culinary specials to suit the occassion, and of course, our usual fabulous menu. New Year's Eve
We are thrilled to have hosted our second New Year's Eve here at Jordan's Steakhouse with so many of our friends, and new and old. The 9 liter bottle of Perrier Jouet was fantastic and a challenge to open. As usual, the countdown feed from Times Square on the 8' screen was exciting, warm & fuzzy. We hope to see you here next year!
Thanksgiving Dinner
Thank you so much to those that joined us for Thanksgiving dinner. We had free range turkeys from a local farm in Sparks, MD; Springfield Farms, as well as all the usual trimings. Springfield farms is where we buy our fabulous, free range chickens from. Our regular menu was served as usualfor those that did not want turkey. Looking forward to seeing you here next year!
J.Lohr Wine Dinner
Thank you to all who attended our wine dinner featuring the wines of J.Lohr! A special thanks to Jerry Humphries, an owner of the winery, for attending and presenting the wines to our guests. They have introduced some incredible wines that are made with the traditional Bordeaux blends of three regions. These were featured as well as many others from their portfolio. B.R. Cohn Wine Dinner
